Minecraft 1.7.2 released many weeks ago. The update involved roughly around ~220k lines of code that had been edited. The Bukkit team worked day and night to rush a release to the Minecraft server community, but the change was huge; and it took almost 4 weeks for them to release an unsupported, unstabledevelopment build.
If you know anything about hosting Minecraft, you know that these builds do not have extensive testing done on them. In other words, there is a very good chance they will have some bugs in them, big or small. They are not recommended, or made extremely public, and are they're mainly for plugin developers and advanced server owners to begin the first stages of transitioning to a new update.
Fortunately, we know what we're doing when it comes to this stuff. You probably haven't seen many staff or myself on the server recently, but please know we did not abandon Turf-Wars and we do plan to make a smooth and gradual transition to the 1.7.2 update and we will continue to offer new features and regularly update the server to ensure your enjoyment.
If you can recall, we held a Spawn building contest when 1.7.2 first came out. Five teams competed to build the new spawn, and I must say all of them ended up with very good builds! The winning team was tomas1234, Joe7486, and StijnHansen. Their spawn will be used for the 1.7.2 update, and they have been awarded $300 worth of credit on our Donator store.
